Stereotypical ideas about the inhabitants of Germany make them considered real pedants. It is assumed that they are principled in their careers, in relationships with people, and even in everyday habits. However, as it turned out, when washing dishes, the Germans allow themselves not to even remove the gel or other product from clean plates.
Foreigners take such measures for reasons of saving utility resources. After a big feast, they pour water into the sink, add detergent, and lower all the dishes – from plates and mugs to frying pans.
Moreover, after finishing washing, the Germans never rinse items under running water to remove foam from them. They simply place cups, plates and cutlery on the table to dry. After some time, the Germans wipe off the soapy stains with a towel and put the dishes back in their places.
It turned out that German residents are not at all afraid of detergent getting into their bodies. The issue of saving is much more important for them than the unlikely harm to health.
