How long has she been lying there?
It must have been a shock for the in-house technician from Peek & Cloppenburg in Hamburg’s Mönckebergstrasse when he opened the door to the cleaning room. Inside lies a half-decomposed corpse of a woman.
Customers are not allowed in the room
On Monday afternoon (June 26), the emergency services carry the body out of the clothing store. Many questions remain. “She was found by an employee. In a room where you as a customer usually have no access,” says a spokesman for the Hamburg police in an interview with RTL.
The strong smell of decomposition quickly made it clear to the paramedics that they could no longer help the woman. It is still unclear who she is, how she got into the room and how long she was there.
Did she die of natural causes?
According to the police, there is currently no evidence of third-party debt. “It is also currently being determined why the employee only entered the room on Monday,” the spokesman continues.
Forensic medicine is currently investigating how the woman died. The result is still pending.
