The case of an American woman who not only sexually assaulted her sick brother-in-law but also gave birth to his child is causing shock. The woman also falsely claimed that she had been raped by her husband and her brother-in-law.
According to the Monroe County, Florida, USA police on the 20th (local time), the police recently arrested Amanda Brooks (34) on charges of sexual assault and false statements. Brooks reported to the police in June of last year that she had been sexually assaulted by her husband and brother-in-law, and that she had received sexual coercion and verbal and psychological abuse. Brooks, who moved to the Orlando area with her children after filing the affidavit, continued to make the same claims there.
However, the incident took a turn when Brooks’ mother-in-law, who learned the whole story, gave a statement to the police. Her mother-in-law alleged that “Brooks was the perpetrator of sexual abuse of our sick son on multiple occasions over the past 10 years.” It is alleged that Brooks sexually abused his brother-in-law, who suffered from autism. In addition, the younger brother-in-law, who was designated as a victim, began to tell the investigative authorities what had happened.
The brother-in-law said that in 2022, Brooks forced him to have sex four times. “I was sexually assaulted in February, March, and May of that year,” he said. “At the time, I refused to tell my sister-in-law, ‘You can’t do this,’ but Brooks threatened her with things like, ‘Be quiet,’ ‘Don’t tell anyone,’ and ‘It’s okay.’” He added.
After further investigation, it was revealed that Brooks was the real perpetrator. As a result, suspicions arose as to who the biological father of the child she gave birth to in January of this year was. Genetic testing was conducted, and it was finally confirmed that the child was Brooks’s brother-in-law’s child, not her husband’s. Brooks is currently incarcerated in the Monroe County Detention Center.
