Horrible discovery for the police called by the employees of a supermarket. They had heard barking from the back of a truck. “Oh shit…” said the police when they discovered the 36 dogs locked in small cages after having cut the padlock which locked the trunk of the truck. Some of them were in a “distressed state” due to the high heat. In images relayed by Oklahoma policewe can even distinguish several puppies, also locked up in cages and probably dehydrated.
The police were able to come out and free them and give them water. The dogs were then taken into the care of animal protection services. An investigation led to the arrest of two people who will face 36 counts of animal cruelty. A dog died as a result of this rescue.
