Tragedy in Rome in the Centocelle district, eastern suburbs of the capital. A child died after falling from a building in Piazza dei Mirti. According to initial information, it appears to be a boy of around 12 years of age who fell from the fifth floor of the building overlooking Piazza dei Mirti, near the Metro C stop, around 7pm this evening. The emergency services were alerted immediately and The police and health personnel intervened on site. The child was taken to hospital but he didn’t make it. The police are investigating to clarify the dynamics.
According to what transpires. the investigators do not exclude any hypothesis, not even that of a voluntary gesture. The drama shook the entire neighborhood also because it took place in the largest and busiest square in Centocelle, which was very busy at that time.
