Shock! Unexpected death after Elizabeth’s funeral

“It is with sadness that we can confirm the death of Private Jack Burnell-Williams on September 28, 2022 at Hyde Park Barracks,” an Army spokesman told the publication. “Our thoughts are with the soldier’s family and friends at this difficult time and we ask that their privacy be respected.”

Burnell-Williams’ death has been described as “unexpected”. However, it is not being treated as a suspected case right now, according to London police in a statement to PEOPLE.

Elizabeth II’s funeral (1926-2022) was one of the most solemn and large-scale mourning ceremonies.

A wreath was placed on the queen’s coffin for her historic state funeral. Among them, however, there was a small heart note left by her son, King Charles III.

The simple and heartfelt message written by the new king reads: “With love and devoted memory!”
