Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov answered the question of when the war will end and when Ukraine will win.
He said this during a conversation with Ukrainian journalists in Brussels, where he arrived at Ramstein’s meeting. Hromadske posted a video with the response from the head of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, quoted by UNIAN.
A media representative asked the minister if the war will really last two years, as they say, and when Ukraine will win.
“You know, I’m sorry. I was changing, I was running. I left the tarot cards in my room. I can’t tell you now when,” Reznikov replied wryly, provoking laughter among those present.
On October 12, US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin said the sixth meeting in Ramstein format discussed the issue of continued arms procurement and training for the Ukrainian military.
Austin also said that the Ukrainian military has changed the dynamics of the war unleashed by Russia and that support for Ukraine will increase.
