Babic’s career has been hanging by a thread more than once.

First in January 2016, after the bankruptcy of FC Biel. Half a year earlier, Babic had succumbed to the enticements of Zurich lawyer Carlo Häfeli, who dreamed of higher goals as president of challenge league team FC Biel. Babic recently in the magazine “Foot”: “In the beginning things went well with trainer Patrick Rahmen. But in the end we didn’t get any wages because nobody wanted to work at the office anymore. » In January 2016, Babic faces nothing. The Zurich firm of Häfeli, where the KV apprentice is doing his internship, is also over. For him means: No apprenticeship qualification! No sporting perspective. Babic four years later: “I was left with nothing.”
