Mangesh Kumar’s wedding from the village of Samaspur was scheduled for May 27. On the appointed day, the groom and all his relatives arrived at the bride’s house, where the final preparations for the ceremony were taking place.
Suddenly, Surby complained that she was feeling unwell and fainted. The family took the girl to the hospital, where doctors determined her death on arrival due to a heart attack.
Immediately afterwards, the groom asked the parents of the deceased for the hand of their youngest daughter Nisha and they agreed. The wedding was held immediately, and Surbha’s body lay in the next room. The girls’ brother noted that his situation seemed abnormal.
Earlier it was reported that a bride from the Indian city of Bignor, Uttar Pradesh, did not wait for the late groom and married another man. The families did not understand each other even before, as the groom’s relatives demanded a dowry from the bride’s relatives in the form of a bicycle and cash, and they did not want to give anything.
