The prime minister said that the main task of the authorities was the need to find enough energy resources against the backdrop of the global crisis.
Due to the global energy crisis, the current heating season will be difficult, but the authorities have prepared for different scenarios. About this on meeting Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday, November 3, said Prime Minister Denis Shmygal.
“Let’s be frank that the autumn-winter period will be difficult. But the government has prepared several different scenarios so that we can still pass it calmly,” he said.

The prime minister said that the main task was to provide a sufficient amount of energy resources for the winter.
“The world is now undergoing an energy crisis: blackouts in China, shutdown of enterprises in Europe. Gas prices in Europe are at an all-time high. Coal prices have risen at least three times compared to last year,” he said.
At the same time, Shmygal once again assured that tariffs for Ukrainians would not increase.
He also recalled that this year an additional UAH 12 billion was allocated for subsidies.
