After the last round in the SHL, the situation in the table has become even more exciting. We review the results and their impact on the table position below.
At the top of the table we find Färjestad, who went up in the lead after winning against Leksand on Thursday. Despite Leksand opening the scoring, Färjestad showed determination and turned the match into its fifth straight victory.
Frölunda faced Växjö and managed to get a 5-3 result, which shows that they are a team to be reckoned with this season. Frölunda’s offensive play and ability to turn games that count has strengthened their position at the top of the table, placed just below Växjö who are second on 81 points. Skellefteå is also in the top tier after its overtime win against Linköping. That they manage to win even matches can definitely be decisive in the final battle.
At the bottom we still find Oskarshamn, who had a really struggling season. This round brought another loss for the team, who went 1-3 against MoDo who took their second win of 2024. HV71 has also had a tough time and is second last with 48 points. However, the team managed to break their 9-game losing streak and grabbed points against Luleå at home.
