A video of a brutal beating that resulted in the death of a transport company manager named Shivam Johri has gone viral on social media. Johri was allegedly accused of theft by his employer, Neeraj Gupta, and was taken to the cloth firm of Kunal Arora where he was tied to a pole and repeatedly beaten with a belt. Reports also suggest that he was given electric shocks by Gupta, Arora, and six others. Johri lost consciousness during the beating and was later pronounced dead at a hospital. After his murder, his body was abandoned at Shahjahanpur medical college, where several injuries were found by the police. The police have launched an investigation and registered an FIR against eight people, including Neeraj Gupta, Kunal Arora, and Transport company owner Bankim Suri, under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code.
