With the winter solstice approaching, Jānis Šipkēvics announced the concerts of his Shipsea solo project “Siltā gaismā”, which will take place on February 14 and 15 next year at the Latvian National Theater, and, as his management says, “let the warm light pour into the souls of the listeners in honor of all lovers and for the thirsty for love.
In the concert program “Siltā gaismā” Jānis Šipkēvics has combined songs that, in his opinion, reflect the wide range of the temperature of love – from Raini’s “Girl with Ice Eyes” to the warm glow of his own songs. In a new reading, a combination of string quartet, piano and voices will play the most important pages of Shipsea’s works – “Taviem ceļiļim”, “Mežaparks” etc., as well as the songs “Tavi vaňli”, “Pie upes” , “Dunka” and “Pie upes” from the latest album “Apgaismo mani” In warm light”. The program also includes the most beautiful melodies created by Imants Kalniņš, Keita Buša, Pīters Gaibriels, etc.
The video version of Shipsea’s song “Your road” from Jānis Šipkēvits’ three-year anniversary concerts “Shipsea. Blame me” was also released this week.
