The solo project of Jānis Šipkēvics “Shipsea” and Aminata have presented a video for the song “Tavi voalni”, which is included in the album “Apgaismo mani” released by Shipsea at the beginning of June.
The song “Tavi voalni” has become like a free ticket for both artists to go to each other’s concerts. Thus, on Thursday evening, Aminata had a solo concert in the Andrejosta quarter, where Šipsi also took the stage to perform the aforementioned piece together, while the next morning both musicians sat politely in the guest chairs of LTV’s “Rīta Panorāmas” to present the video of the song, which in turn was necessary for would like to remind you about the “Apgaismo mani” concerts dedicated to the 40th anniversary of Jānis Šipkēvics planned for August 30 and 31 in the Great Hall of the Daile Theater, where Aminata will definitely be present.
The video for the song “Your waves” was made in close collaboration with the chief cameraman Pēteras Vīksnas and choreographers Janas Jacukas and Marģers Vanags. The contemporary dance company “SIXTH” takes part in it, the clip was filmed in “Hanza Peron”. The idea for the video clip was said to have arisen at the beginning of this year, in preparation for the Latvian Music Recording of the Year award ceremony “Zelta Mikrofons”, where Šipsī and Aminata introduced this song to the public for the first time. It should be noted that together with the song “Tavi voalni” the text video created by Ksenia Sundeeva from the group “Tribes Of The City” was also published.
