Shiny Tyrantrum appears in the new Pokémon Sword & Shield Max Raid event

A new Max Raid event has started in Sword & Shield that celebrates Fossil-themed Pokemon and is giving trainers a chance to catch Shiny Tyrantrum.

Although Pokemon Legends Arceus arrived on the Nintendo Switch in January, many fans are still jumping into the world of Sword & Shield, despite it being the oldest title.

As a result, Game Freak continues to host in-game events and gives players the opportunity to add extremely rare Pokémon to their collection.

While there’s certainly no DLC on the way, the developers regularly add new Gigantamax and Shiny Pokemon to Max Raids, usually around a specific theme.

This week is no different with Game Freak introducing a variety of Fossil-themed Pokémon in Max Raids, and even giving trainers a chance to get their hands on Shiny Tyrantrum.
