Either way, we’re fans of the delicious hacks for our long locks. What if we could combine it with some tasty snacks? Yes thanks! We list five foods that also give your hair a brilliant boost.
1. Greek yogurt
Greek yogurt contains little or no fat, but is rich in vitamin D and vitamin B5. These two vitamins ensure that blood flow in the scalp is regulated. In addition, Greek yogurt contains many probiotics, which aid in the development of the immune system. Especially if you are struggling with hair thinning or loss, Greek yogurt is a must.
2. Pumpkin
Pumpkin contains several nutrients that make your hair shine. Iron and beta-carotene, among others, contribute to this. Beta-carotene is converted into vitamin A, which is important for hair growth and thickness. Pumpkin also contains a lot of magnesium, which is necessary for chemical reactions that promote hair growth.
3. Avocado
We often see avocado on the ingredient list in face masks. This is because avocados contain a high amount of fiber, vitamins and healthy fats. Vitamin E is particularly useful, as it ensures that the hair remains well nourished and that hair growth is stimulated.
4. Salmon
Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which are one of the keys to healthy hair. It also contains a lot of magnesium, vitamin B, vitamin D, selenium and protein.
