As a result of his tattered squad, the U-23 Indonesia national team coach, Shin Tae-yong, made a plea to PSSI. He asked PSSI to cancel the departure of the U-23 Indonesian National Team to the 2022 AFF U-23 Cup which was held in Cambodia on 14-26 February 2022. PSSI also granted Shin Tae-yong’s request.
Health is a priority Shin Tae-yong in this case. In fact, if the U-23 Indonesian National Team is not hit by the Covid-19 storm, the Garuda Muda squad has the opportunity to win the 2022 AFF U-23 Cup.
