Shin Tae-yong also revealed his reason for calling Kelana Noah Mahesa and Luah Fynn Jeremy Mahesa.
Reported Kompas.com from the PSSI official website, Shin Tae-yong wanted to see the abilities of the two players.
“I invited these two players to come to Croatia because I wanted to see their quality firsthand,” said Shin Tae-yong.
“The consideration of bringing these two players is because the distance from their country (Germany) to Croatia is not far away.”
Furthermore, Shin Tae-yong said, he did indeed have a list of some descendant players he wanted to see his abilities.
However, so far only Kelana Noah Mahesa and Luah Fynn Jeremy Mahesa can be brought to Croatia.
“There are a number of descendants that I would like to see firsthand their abilities, but only these two have made it to Croatia,” he said.
“Maybe we will summon during the next training camp while waiting for developments,” said the coach from South Korea.
Meanwhile, Kelana Noah Mahesa said she was happy to receive an invitation directly from Shin Tae-yong. He is determined to be part of the Indonesian U19 national team.
“I am very happy to receive an invitation from coach Shin Tae-yong to participate in training with the Indonesian U19 national team in Croatia,” said Kelana Noah Mahesa.
“I want to be part of this team. It’s not easy, but I will fight,” he said.
Kelana Noah Mahesa is a player born January 30, 2001.
Meanwhile, Luah Fynn Jeremy Mahesa was born a year later exactly on July 30, 2002.
