Shin Tae Yong explains the win U-23 Indonesian National Team over Turkmenistan and a ticket to compete in the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup is the result of a well-planned effort.
The Indonesian U-23 national team defeated Turkmenistan and ensured they topped the 2024 U-23 Asian Cup Qualification Group K standings as well as a ticket to the final round of the continental level championship next year.
Shin said that the performance of Rizky Ridho Ramadhani and his friends should be appreciated after achieving the sweet fruit of thorough preparation.

“We have won, all the players have prepared well for today’s match, and in the match they performed very well too. I once again thank the players,” said Shin in a press conference after the match.
Observing the match on the side of the field, Shin saw that his team were working hard to implement the instructions he gave.
Even though there were one or two mistakes, in general the coach from South Korea praised the hard efforts made in the match against Turkmenistan.
“Overall, the content of the match was very good. So Coach Shin would like to give praise to the players. There were only a few who were unfortunate because they couldn’t utilize their opportunities well, such as Rafael and others.”

The Indonesian U-20 national team has competed in the U-20 Asian Cup in March 2023, while the senior team will play on the Asian stage in January 2024. The Indonesian U-23 national team will then compete in the U-23 Asian Cup in April 2024.
