In KBS1’s liberal arts program’Issue PICK’, broadcasted on the afternoon of the 3rd, philosopher Kang Shin-joo will appear and give a lecture on the subject of’Corona 19 Era, Are You in Love?’
Now that the warmth and love of each other have become more desperate than ever with the distance from the daily life caused by Corona 19. What kind of love are we in? Is it true that we love properly, from various incidents under the name of’love’ to’wrong love’ exchanged with family, lover, and friends?
2020 has been a cold year with the continued distance since Corona 19. It is’love’ that gives warmth and vitality to a chilly heart. Are we really in love?
In 2019, the number of reported dating violence was 19,940, and the number of child abuse reports was 41,389.
Together with philosopher Shin-joo Kang, we will examine the wrong forms of love and learn how to convey love correctly.
Today, there is another hidden meaning in’love, love’, which is interpreted as love. That is, it is’luxury’. About 2,000 years ago,’love’ was used to mean generosity, which means’luxury’ is the source of all love.
Following that, philosopher Shin-joo Kang introduced an easy way to check the generosity. That is,’The Eyes’. It is a term referring to the image of yourself reflected in the other’s eyes.
He explained that it is possible to confirm each other’s hearts only by looking at the self in the other’s eyes. Take time to check the meaning of’love’ reinterpreted by philosopher Shin-joo Kang, and learn true love,’luxury’.
Philosopher Shin-joo Kang suggested three methods for proper love. First, find and provide an appropriate’love of one air’ that the loved one can distribute comfortably. Second, take off your mask and be honest so that it is easy for the other person to give me the love of air. Third, treat the other person as if they were pets. When we don’t want anything from our loved ones and value our existence, we can experience true love.
Through the three love methods he suggests, we will consider how to lead a happy life with a loved one in 2021.
