The reporter learned from the Hebei Airport Group that during the summer travel season, Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport (“Shijiazhuang Airport” for short) is expected to guarantee 15,600 transport flights and transport 2.07 million passengers.
With the advent of summer travel, the demand for themed tourism such as seaside tours, grassland tours, summer tours, and landscape tours has grown rapidly. Shijiazhuang Airport actively contacted airlines to increase flight routes to help passengers travel during the summer. In June, Shijiazhuang Zhengding International Airport has successively opened international routes such as Shijiazhuang-Incheon and Shijiazhuang-Busan, and added domestic routes such as Yantai-Shijiazhuang-Urumqi. In the near future, new routes such as Ulanhot-Xilinhot-Shijiazhuang and Shijiazhuang-Hailar will be opened. Encrypted Kunming, Shanghai, Nanchang routes.
During the summer travel season, Shijiazhuang Airport will increase flight routes to Changchun, Guangzhou, Nanning and other places, as well as feeder flights in Qinhuangdao and Chengde provinces to further facilitate travel for passengers.
This year’s summer transportation, Shijiazhuang to Chengdu will reach up to 10 flights per day, Shanghai will reach 9 flights per day, Kunming will reach 8 flights per day, Guangzhou will reach 6 flights per day, and Hangzhou, Xiamen, Hailar, and Chongqing will reach 10 flights per day. With a maximum of 5 flights, the accessibility of Shijiazhuang Airport to key domestic cities, provincial capitals and popular tourist cities will be further improved.
Currently, Shijiazhuang Airport has relatively favorable air ticket prices for some routes. As the popularity of tourism heats up, ticket prices are on the rise.
