In today’s Nintendo Direct online press conference (13), Mario’s father, Shigeru Miyamoto, appeared and brought “Pikmin 4”.
In recent years, Shigero Miyamoto has focused on publishing some of Nintendo’s collaborations with other industries, such as Universal Studios’ “Nintendo World” or the Mario films. This debut first announced Universal Studios’ “Nintendo World” plan in the US, promoted new Pikmin mobile game content “Pikmin Bloom” in partnership with Niantic, and finally launched “Pikmin 4”.
The specific way to play “Pikmin 4” has not yet been revealed, but the official said this work appears to be able to play with Pikmin’s perspective close to the ground. Also, as it is easier to operate on the Nintendo Switch, it will be possible to focus more on the planning and management tactics of “think more”, the main game mode of the Pikmin series.
Pikmin 4 is expected to launch in 2023.
