Shift for those born between 1972 and 1976

The IB-Salut confirms that as of this Thursday, at 3:00 p.m., people born between 1972 and 1976 (between 45 and 49 years old) will already be able to request an appointment to get vaccinated against covid-19 through the app or the website of BitCita.

The person in charge of the campaign, Eugenia Carandell, already assured two weeks ago that the month of June would begin with the appointment of this new age group. In addition, a new acceleration in vaccination in the Balearic Islands since next month more doses will arrive per week. At the time, the Regional Minister of Health came to estimate the weekly shipments in June at 100,000 vaccines.

Thus, this group can already request an appointment from this Thursday for a shift that will open the week of June 2 to 9 in the different vaccination centers of the Islands. This same week it is also expected that the repechage of those under 60 who received the first dose of AstraZeneca will begin, although Salut has not yet revealed what steps they should follow.
