However, there is great interest in the so-called “meme coins”, which were started mainly by Dogecoin. He talked about it quite often Elon Musk, who also wrote several tweets on this topic. Now it looks like he’s found another “dog” cryptocurrency. That’s it Shiba Inu, which arose in response to Dogecoin and is still rocking in absolutely fractional values against the dollar. In October, however, it grew several times and the question is whether Elon Musk, who published a tweet with the dog Shiba Inu in the front suitcase (front) of Tesla, has his fingers in it again. He only added a caption to the dog’s photo Floki Frunkpuppy.
At the time of the release of this tweet (October 4, 3:41 a.m. in our morning), the cryptocurrency was worth about $ 0.0000085, 3.5 days later it reached a maximum of $ 0.0000349, which is more than 4 times. The lay public in particular immediately attributes this increase exclusively to Elon Musk, however, experts mostly say that this tweet had its undeniable role, but it was still only one piece of many.
Shiba Inu had been growing for about three days before, when it had gained about 20%, and even after Musk’s tweet, nothing significant had happened for about half a day. Other cryptocurrencies also grew during this period (Dogecoin also made a big leap, both before and after the tweet), similarly, at the turn of September and October, interest in Bitcoin flared up. But none of them jumped multiples like Shiba Inu, but it is often mentioned that it doesn’t have to be just Musk’s tweet, but that people also want to save their funds outside the classical financial system, and cryptocurrencies are a tempting way to do this. In the case of cryptocurrencies and meme coins, in particular, many of them hope for miraculous enrichment, so they join the wave of purchases, which pushes prices further up. But of course, that doesn’t mean it will happen forever.
Shiba Inu has fallen a bit and is holding around $ 0.0000300, but even that is enough to make it the 15th most valuable cryptocurrency in the world with a market value of $ 11.9 billion. This may be approaching a company like American Airlines.
