Party NasDem will present three names of presidential candidates (presidential candidate) to Ketum Surya Paloh at the national working meeting or national working meeting next June. General Treasurer of the Nasdem DPP, Ahmad Sahroni, revealed that the names of regional heads and ministers would be proposed.
“Anyway, all names are good. The criteria are all good. There are regional heads and ministers,” said Sahroni to detikcom, Tuesday (3/5/2022).
Sahroni mentioned a number of names. There is the name of the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan until the Governor of East Java (East Java) Khofifah Indar Parawangsa who entered the radar.
“There are great names. Mr. Prahowo, Mrs. Puan, Mr. Ganjar, Mr. Anies, Mr. Andika, Mr. Erick, Mr. Ridwan Kamil, Mrs. Khofifah,” he said.
Previously, NasDem Party DPP Chairman Willy Aditya explained that the National Working Meeting was held at the Jakarta Convention Center or JCC. In the event, which will be attended by thousands of NasDem cadres, there will be the handover of three names for the 2024 presidential candidates to Surya Paloh.
“The Nasdem Party is concentrating on preparing the National Working Meeting which will be held on June 15-17 at the JCC. Now the SC is working, the OC is working to prepare it because it is attended by all DPDs throughout Indonesia, DPWs throughout Indonesia, around seven thousand participants. We will recommend three presidential candidates to Pak Surya,” Willy told reporters, Tuesday (3/5).
Of the three presidential candidates submitted, Surya Paloh will determine who the NasDem champion will be in 2024. The submission and selection of presidential candidates, according to Willy, cannot be separated from building a 2024 coalition.
“Later it will be handed over to Mr. Surya, Mr. Surya will determine who he will choose, and technically at a later time we will hand it over to Mr. Surya because at the same time building a supporting coalition,” said Willy.
Willy said that NasDem has established relationships with a number of political parties to build a coalition in 2024. The three names of NasDem presidential candidates are in the hands of Surya Paloh.
“Coalition building, if contact (coalition communication) has been completed,” he added.
