Gold Division member Sherif Zaki confirmed that opening the door to the export of manufactured gold after canceling appraisal fees for gold exported overseas will pave the way for pumping new investment into the gold industry. providing hundreds of new jobs and managing the factory sector, he indicated in his speech on the sidelines of the second edition of the Nabio International Goldsmith and Jewelery Exhibition, which is organized by the Department of Assays and Weights and the General Goldsmith and Jewelery Division of the General Federation of Chambers of Commerce for a period of 3 days, is an opportunity, to respond to the requests of the producers and cancel the valuation fees on exports of gold manufactured articles, a wise decision which is in the interest of the national industry .

He added, in exclusive statements, that the cancellation of valuation fees for gold exported overseas is an important step to support the export of manufactured gold in light of the decline in sales of manufactured gold in favor of bullion and gold pounds, and work on legislation that facilitates the export of gold artifacts to elevate the Egyptian brand abroad and compete in international markets after the terrible development of handicraft industry in the Egyptian market.

He explained that the export of gold artifacts will generate large dollar revenue in the coming period because the export of crude oil is not healthy and we have to export a product with the “Made in Egypt” logo.
