The workers on the spot asked Sher Afzal Marwat to remain silent, Sher Afzal Marwat also refused, which made Prime Minister Ali Amin Gandapur immediately de-notify the brother of Sher Afzal Marwat from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Cabinet.
According to the party sources, the next day Ali Amin Gandapur brought up the whole matter during a meeting with the founder of Tehreek-e-Insaf in Adiala jail. .
Sources claimed that for two days Sher Afzal Marwat was going to Adiala Jail with his brother’s case, but Barrister Gohar Ali, Umar Ayub and Shibli Faraz also took two steps back from Sher Afzal Marwat’s behavior.
The sources further said that Barrister Gohar Ali saved Sher Afzal Marwat from show cause notice three times and finally the party sidelined Sher Afzal Marwat from the party matters.
Party sources claimed that several MNAs are trying to improve matters in favor of Sher Afzal Marwat.
