A shepherdess caused an accident in Rothenfels on Thursday that caused around 20,000 euros worth of damage.
The woman wanted to cross the state road “Am Gaiberg” towards the Main with her flock of sheep. To do this, she also blocked the street with her car.
An 85-year-old driver noticed the closure too late and crashed into the parked car. The senior suffered minor injuries and had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.
Both cars had to be towed away, which is why the road was closed for around an hour. The shepherdess is now being investigated for dangerous interference with road traffic.
