Is there anything Shenmue– the fans had to train themselves, so the art is to be patient. Sweden 1 and 2 were released in 1999 and 2001, respectively, but then the third one was delayed until 2019. At this point, we should probably expect Sweden 4 (yes, the series is definitely not finished) in the late 2030s…?
We are now getting a hopeful, albeit cautious, sign. A new publisher comes in for Sweden 3 and Inin promises in a press release that the series will live. The point of a five-year-old game getting a new publisher isn’t entirely clear, but Inin writes that they know they will take “popular titles for new platforms”. Epic Store and PS4 separately Sweden 3 could come to more pc shops (Steam?), Xbox consoles, Switch or why not consoles today. We will see.
But perhaps most exciting is the news that the 25-year streak is far from over:
With this move, the Shenmue saga is far from over.
In 2022, Yu Suzuki, who is now 66 years young, said that There were no concrete plansbut after a year he said yes thoughts on one Fish 0– like a prequel. This news may give new energy to Suzuki.
