Russian President Vladimir Putin called the condition for reducing tensions around Ukraine. He once again offered the Ukrainian government to enter into negotiations with the militants.

“The key to restoring peace in Ukraine and relieving tension around this country is the implementation of the Minsk agreements. All Kiev needs to do is sit down at the negotiating table with representatives of Donbass and agree on political, military and humanitarian measures to end the conflict,” Putin said.
The Russian leader stressed that the sooner the Ukrainian government starts direct negotiations with the militants from ORDLO, the sooner the tension around Ukraine will decrease. Putin added that today there is an aggravation of the situation in the Donbass.
