Impairment of assets and additional expenses related to operations in Russia in the first quarter will amount to approximately $ 4-5 billion, the company says.
At the end of February, Shell announced that it would sell its shares in all joint projects with the Russian natural gas concern Gazprom.
At the time, the company said the value of these joint projects was about three billion dollars.
In early March, Shell announced that it would stop buying Russian oil and natural gas, as well as close gas stations in the country, cut off fuel supplies and other activities.
