Al-Marsad newspaper: A circulating video clip documented the sheikh of the Al-Fatima tribes, Yam Muhammad bin Ali Abu Saq, deposing Bashta to mediate with the Al-Araj’a tribe to reduce the amount of the ruling in a case in Najran.
Sheikh Abu Saq took off his veil, shawl, and headband, among the members of the Al-Araja tribe, to defuse the dispute between the Al-Araja tribe and the Al-Futaih tribe, and to reduce the amount of the ruling from 15 million to 2 million riyals.
The video showed Sheikh Abu Saq throwing the bisht, shemagh, and aqal towards a group of people, some of whom quickly took it and dressed it for another person to demand that he accept a reduction in the amount.
In the following snapshots of the video, some people took Sheikh Abu Saq to a place to calm him down. He sat on a chair, and someone took off his shemagh and headband and placed it on Sheikh Abu Saq’s head, while the latter appeared crying.
The video showed the presence of a number of security men to secure the place, and a large number of tribesmen in Najran.
For their part, the Al Araj’a tribe agreed to Sheikh Abu Saq’s request and mediation, and the amount was reduced out of appreciation for Sheikh Abu Saq.
