Al-Marsad Newspaper: Citizen Abdul-Qader Al-Maili documented a video clip of the drop in sheep prices in the central market in Jeddah Governorate.
The citizen pointed out, during the video, which was shared and circulated by the activists of the communication sites, to the collapse of sheep prices, as a person appeared calling for the prices of sheep, whose prices ranged between (510-580) riyals, as it appears in the clip.
Al Muaili commented on these prices, saying: “If we say prices have collapsed, we are not talking about this.”
Al-Maili attributed the reason for the price collapse to the imported halal or fodder licenses, or to the abundance of supply exceeding demand.
For the second day in a row, the price of sheep has collapsed, perhaps because of imported halal or fodder licenses, or the large supply exceeded demand today. pic.twitter.com/MGWNHlOCPY
