It’s not every day that you can come across farmyard animals in the middle of the city, let alone sheep. However, they will be in the Terraillon district, at Rosa-Parks, this Saturday July 3 afternoon.
It is on the occasion of the Fête de la Nature that these little balls of wool, from the urban Sheepfold, will come to graze.
From 2 to 5 pm, several activities will celebrate the labeling of this park as a “Refuge LPO” (League for the protection of birds).
To watch the birds
Bird watching sessions with binoculars will be supervised by the LPO. The young elected officials of the Municipal Children’s Council (CME) will introduce the game they created: Bron becs. Visitors will be able to learn how to make seed bombs with the Gérard-Philipe social center. The brilliant beekeeper Boris Rojas will be present to talk about bees. The “Super Powers of Insects” animation planned by the Musée des Confluences should interest the most curious. We will talk about responsible consumption with the vegetable baskets of the Soupagère.
This celebration, initially scheduled for May 22, had to be postponed due to the health context.
