A dog was mistakenly shipped from London to Saudi Arabia, instead of being sent to his owners in Nashville, Tennessee, according to the British website ‘Wales Online’.
The owners of the 5-year-old dog explained that shipping company employees put their pet on another British Airways plane and were left confused and scared for hours before learning the truth.
60 flight hours
After research and investigation, the shipping company in charge of transporting the dog “Bluebell” discovered that the dog had arrived at Riyadh Airport, to be transported back to Heathrow Airport in London before being shipped to the United States with a journey that lasted about 60 hours with waiting stations.
The dog’s owners, Madison and James Miller, said they thought the crisis was over with Bluebell’s safe arrival, but found the “suffering” had only just begun.

James, 27, explains that he and his wife cannot separate their dog, who was traumatized by what happened with her, causing them thousands of dollars in damages due to bouts of anxiety and anger.
The couple indicated they hired a vet and behavior specialist to help treat her psychologically, explaining, “She’s on anti-anxiety meds three times a day, but we don’t know if it’s going to go back to normal. It breaks our hearts.” .”
