ISTANBUL (Aftenposten): The political chaos goes beyond the freedom of the press in Lebanon, activists believe.

The American freelance journalist Nada Homsi was in custody in Beirut for three weeks without knowing why.

US-Palestinian journalist Nada Al Homsi was arrested in Beirut on November 16. She was detained for three weeks without trial.

On Wednesday, Human Rights Watch (HRW) requested that Homsi be released immediately. The group believes she was subjected to arbitrary imprisonment. A few hours later, Homsi was released.
