If Dalida has become a star, it is also thanks to his brother Orlando. Since his tragic death in 1987, he has done everything to perpetuate the memory of his beloved sister. On the occasion of the 35th anniversary of his death on May 3, the person concerned agreed to confide, in the pages of the new issue of France Sunday, on newsstands this Friday, April 22. With our colleagues, he recounted the last months that preceded the death of the iconic singer: “For a year, it had been darker and the meals were rare. The trials had consumed her. Once again, she wanted to take her destiny into her own hands to be around us like stardust.“, the Orlando confides.
As he recently mentioned on the set of It’s up to you, Real name Bruno Gigliotti made a promise to his sister on his deathbed. “It’s a promise I made to her the day she left. Yolanda, she’s my sister, that’s another bereavement, but the artist, I promised her that she will never die“, revealed, moved, Orlando. And to emphasize about the star: “All her life, Dalida set herself challenges. And even the last, she won. She wanted to leave in full glory, in full beauty, she didn’t want time to do its work on her.
