Eva Jinek has been heavily criticized by the well-known columnist Johan Fretz. He fully supports Martijn Koning in his argument with the talk show diva. “She treats artists like stupid clowns.”
Martijn Koning’s career has been badly damaged by his performance with Eva Jinek earlier this year. He pronounced such a fierce roast on Thierry Baudet that the politician walked out of the studio angrily. Eva blamed him for that, just like the top of RTL. It never worked out between the two parties.

Johan Fretz, columnist for Het Parool, supports Martijn in this conflict. He was shocked by the interview with Martijn in the Christmas edition of the Volkskrant. In it he indicates that he was seriously threatened after the broadcast. In addition, the comedian explains what damage his career has suffered due to the statements of Eva and RTL.

According to Martijn, Eva was given every opportunity to read his roast in advance, while it was claimed from the RTL camp that that opportunity was not offered at all.

Johan believes Martijn. “I know from personal experience that team Jinek wants to read everything in advance and has every right to do so. The artist on duty is never the boss and therefore never the one you can SO drop if it gets too hot under your feet.”

Defining media moment
Johan offered his earlier this year excuse to Eve, because he accused Jaar of not having a backbone. Now he says: “I have said before that I will no longer make big statements about the character of those involved, because I do not think that is okay.”
