Yesterday, the police arrested a woman who was selling a Motorola G20 cell phone through Facebook Marketplace that had been stolen in the middle of an act of violence in Los Hornos.
Official sources detailed that the event occurred in the area of 155 and 66.
The procedure was carried out after an investigation initiated by members of the Third Police Station.
According to what they confided to this newspaper, the girl involved had stolen the phone from a man who was the victim of serious injuries. “A sharp wound to his right eye,” they stated.
In this context, the thief took advantage of the situation and in the midst of the brawl that left the victim badly injured, she took his cell phone and kept it in her possession.
What the defendant did not notice is that the injured man noticed this situation, and after recovering he went to the sectional to report this event.
After the victim established the fact, the police searched the aforementioned social network Facebook and found a publication where they put up for sale a blue cell phone, which the victim later recognized as her property.
Mindful of this, police personnel contacted the seller and coordinated the purchase of the product.

The meeting agreed for the “purchase” took place at the corner of 155 and 66, where the troops appeared in civilian clothes at the scheduled time with the person involved.
Once at the scene, and subsequent presentation, they proceeded to arrest the woman, who at the time of her identification was in possession of the cell phone.
While she was reduced, she was transferred to the Third Police Station and brought to justice.
It is worth mentioning that the phone was recovered and, after investigation, it will be returned to its rightful owner.
