The 6-year-old girl who was grazed during an attack in Camaçari, in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador, is traumatized after seeing her father, Alexsandro Marques Barreto, 47, being murdered in a bar. The crime happened this Wednesday (15). In a report to TV Bahia, the child’s aunt said that the girl never stops talking about the crime.

“Her mother reported that she has been repeating all the time that he died to save her. It’s a trauma that will last practically your entire life. The family also believes that the shots were not intended for Alexsandro. “He was a good father of two girls. He was an excellent son, brother, uncle, human being and he died in such a brutal and unfair way,” said the victim’s niece, Ana Queila dos Santos.

According to the Civil Police, the suspects arrived in a car, one of the occupants got out of the vehicle and shot Alexsandro, who succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

In addition to Alexsandro and his daughter, another man was also hit by the shots. He was identified as Welington Lima Ferreira, aged 44. According to TV Bahia, he underwent surgery and is admitted to the Municipal Hospital of Salvador. His health status was not disclosed.

The Military Police reported that they were called and upon arriving at the scene, the PMs found that a man had died at the scene and the other two victims had been taken to a health unit in the region.
