A year earlier, Ankiewicz ended her sports career. The main reason was recurring injuries, which made her unable to compete at the highest level.
– I gave my all and every day my life was arranged just to be able to fulfill myself on the treadmill. Sport verified all this in a brutal way, but I believe that such learning will be useful in my future life – she wrote on social media at the time.
