– I did not feel special, I approached the matter without emotions, although I tried to play my best – this is how Janin recalled her participation in “Madness …” years later. – I was not excited to walk in fashionable wedge shoes and smile at everyone. That’s what I have until today. Acting involves constantly being targeted. You cannot breathe your own life and you have to protect your privacy all the time – told the editor of “Życie na Gorało”.

Before she quit acting, she appeared in one more production, “Mouse”. It was later announced that she had collapsed into the ground, while she opted for art. The series Majka followed in the footsteps of her mother, the famous artist Maria Anto. She did it mostly to finally get rid of the sticky girl patch on her small screen. – After many years, however, I realized that thanks to this character my art can reach a wider audience, interest someone, stimulate someone – she later admitted.

Zuzanna Janin – life

In an interview with “Przekrój”, she confided that although she was always drawn in that direction, she suffered at the Academy of Fine Arts. In the meantime, an unimaginable tragedy struck her – she lost her first child. – This experience changed everything. I was running away from art for a long time. I came back only after the birth of my daughter – she said. Thanks to this, she finally broke down and “believed in her life”.

In 1992, Zuzanna began to use the artistic name: Janin. She took up sculpture and painting, in which her mother reached the top. – Just like for the mother. With a few brush strokes, she was able to convey the character of a man. Although I am not a figurative artist, we do have something in common – she also stated in “Przekrój”.

Janin published a fictitious obituary in the press and organized a funeral, at which she appeared. In order not to be recognized, the future was disguised as an old woman. She recorded the ceremony without warning the mourners that she was fine and still alive. This caused Janin a huge scandal.

The woman broke free from the relationship that was destroying her and since 2018, as a member of the “Survivalki” association, she has been helping victims of domestic violence. About what she experienced, she told, among others “High Heels”. In that interview, she emphasized that she perfectly understood people who decided to leave and fight for a better tomorrow. She had been recovering from a toxic relationship on her own for 30 years. – I bounced back from the bottom of despair, started a new life – she told Onet.
