A state of sadness dominated social media platforms in Egypt after the death of a young mother from cancer in Menoufia Governorate.
Nermin, 39, left an influential will on Facebook, in which she wrote: “My will to you, when you hear the news of my death, attend my burial and tell some of myself that there will be many people standing on my grave praying for me and reading the Qur’an.”
And the young woman asked the mourners of her body to stay with her for an hour or two after her burial, so that they would be “for her”.
She also recommended asking about her children, saying: “Ask about my children from time to time, and take care of them, especially Ziyad, because he is very attached to me.”
While she asked everyone’s forgiveness, reiterating the concern for her children after her death, saying, “The one who upset him, I hope he forgives me, invite me to everything that comes to your mind, and keep my children always in your mind.”
It is noteworthy that “Nermin” was constantly reading to her friends on Facebook about the stages of her chemotherapy treatment, and she talked about her pain from that disease, and appealed to everyone to mention her in prayer, until a friend sent her her name written on a paper attached to supplication from inside the Sacred Mosque, until her loved ones were shocked by the news of her death before hours.
