It may sound sci-fi to some, but Kristina Ozturkova from the Georgian town of Batumi is the biological mother of 21 children at the age of 23. But she gave birth to only one child herself, and the rest was helped by surrogate mothers.
The family has already paid them over 138 thousand pounds (more than four million crowns), another almost 68 thousand pounds (about two million crowns) were swallowed by the annual salaries of 16 foster parents who help with child care.
But the huge financial expenses do not bother the young mother too much. She is currently happily married to the millionaire and businessman Galipa (57), with whom she is planning a hundred children, writes The Sun.
Kristina, who is originally from Russia, met Galipa on her very first trip abroad. At that time, she was already the mother of six-year-old Victoria. In March last year, the couple’s boy Mustafa was born for the first time through a surrogate mother. “My husband also dreamed of a big and happy family. So after we met, we started to make our dream come true,” said the proud mother of 21 children.
The couple currently live in Georgia because artificial insemination and the abduction of a child by a surrogate mother are prohibited in Russia, where Kristina comes from.
