A resident of Texas heard a knock on her front door this morning. After opening it, she saw an alligator curled up on the doorstep. The woman called the services to the place, which took care of the safe transfer of the reptile.
The alligator incident happened Wednesday in Texas. Owner of a property in Clear Lake found a nearly eight-foot-long alligator under her door.
– I heard a knock on the door and thought it was one of my children playing a prank. When I opened the door, I had to take a deep breath,” Alexis Harmon told US broadcaster KHOU 1.

The woman called the police to the scene. Officers notified a reptile catching specialist of the situation. Tim DeRamus took care of transporting the reptile safely to the reserve.
– They often go out this time of year the man emphasized.
Pictures of the reptile were posted on social media by the Harris County Sheriff’s Office. “Bang, bang! Who there?” – the officers jokingly signed them.
American alligators can measure over four meters long. The weight of reptiles reaches 350 kg. However, animals do not usually attack humans.
