I had to pull myself together. It made me realize what I wanted for myself. Probably for the first time in my life. Because, when I had experienced the shock of my father’s death at 19, I did not have the weapons to take control of myself. ”

She wants a change of scenery

Hence the decision to move to the United States, with his companion for twenty-three years, the actor and director Yvan Attal, and their three children Ben, born in 1997, Alice Jane, in 2002, and Joe, in 2011. “It turns out that it also pleased Yvan and my children, but yes, it was first of all a desire, a need that I felt for myself. As if I gave myself the right to do so, ”she explains. “I have never been in my pumps. But, today, I tell myself that it is urgent. I want to take advantage of Yvan, of our children, ”she insists throughout the interview.

And why New York? “I want to be in an environment that I do not know, where no one knows me and where I no longer have to worry about the way people look at me”, explains the one who is since his birth in 1971 under the spotlight because of his illustrious parents then his brilliant career.
