While her father was hospitalized due to a long illness, she flouted the rules by taking a can of Bunderberg, a popular rum & coke brand in kangaroo country, to her room.

In her video, she can be seen inserting a syringe into the can and drawing up a small amount while her mother explains the plan to her father.

“We brought you some rum, dad. We’re going to put it in a syringe and we’re going to put it in your mouth,” explains the woman to the very weakened man lying in bed.

The young woman then bends down and sends the precious liquid into the father’s mouth.

He barely reacts, but when asked if it tastes good, we see him nod, much to the delight of the two women in his life.

“Hell yeah!” exclaims Pennelope, proud of her achievement.

“One last drink with dad before his spirit returns to the universe. Until we meet again, man. I love you,” she wrote in the message accompanying her post, which has been viewed nearly 2 million times so far.

After the death of her father which occurred the night after the little rum shooter, the young Australian published a new video to thank the TikTok community for the messages of support, but to shed light on a few elements which raised questions in the first video.

This is how we were able to learn that the video of about thirty seconds published a few days before is actually extracted from a video of about fifteen minutes that Pennelope recorded to remember her last interactions with his father.

She also specifies that her father had suffered from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease for several years, and that several other health complications had come to disturb his quality of life in recent times.

She and her mother are delighted to know that they have moved hundreds of people around the world, and say they are serene and relieved to know that the man in the family is no longer suffering.
