Shcherbakova entered the top three contenders for the ISU “Most Valuable Skater of the Year” award
In addition to Anna Shcherbakova, Nathan Chen and the French Gabriela Papadakis and Guillaume Sizeron claim the award.

The champion of the Beijing Olympics in women’s single skating, Anna Shcherbakova, entered the final three contenders for the “Most Valuable Skater of the Year” award at the International Skating Union (ISU) Skating Awards, reported on the organization’s website.
Shcherbakova will compete for the award with French dance duo Gabriela Papadakis / Guillaume Sizeron and US Games champion Nathan Chen.
There are no other Russians on the list of contenders for the ISU awards.
The winners of the award will perform at the Art on Ice show in Zurich on February 5, 2023. The winners will be determined by a jury of “six former champions”.
Shcherbakova is 18 years old, she won the 2021 World Championships, is a two-time silver medalist of the European Championships (2020, 2022).
