Pattynama said he had a good season in his final year with the Vikings.
Left full back Shayne Pattynama confirmed that he would not stay at the Norwegian Eliteserien club, Viking FK, and last weekend’s match was a farewell match.
Pattynama’s contract with Viking expires at the end of this season. The naturalized Indonesian player is one of Viking’s important pillars in the defense sector, and has always appeared as a starter, except in the last two matches of the 2023 season.

However, Patyynama’s departure was not accompanied by positive results. In the last match against Rosenborg, Monday (4/12) early morning WIB, Viking was slaughtered 5-1 in front of their supporters at the SR-Bank Arena Stadium. This defeat also meant that Viking failed to win a ticket to the Conference League, because they were only ranked fourth in the final standings.

“I brought joy and sorrow during my time at Viking. There’s no doubt it’s a great time to come here (Vikings). “I moved alone, learned to live alone away from my family, and stood up for myself,” said Pattynama.
Until now, Pattynama has not revealed his next destination after deciding to move from Viking. A number of clubs in Europe, Asia and the United States are reportedly interested in bringing in the player born in Lelystad, Netherlands.
