In her Facebook post, Swaraj accused Shashi Tharoor of not knowing the meaning of words when he said that it was an attack by terrorists from the Palestinian side and that it was Israel’s response.
Swaraj criticized the Congress leader for not knowing that history did not begin on 7th October and that the Congress leader is still unable to say that Israel is a complete terrorist state.
“Dr. Shashi Tharoor asserts that the incident from the Palestinian side is due to “terrorist violence”.
And Israel’s “reply”! He is not someone who doesn’t know that words have meaning,’ said Swaraj.
In 2009, Tharoor’s participation in the Muslim League’s Palestine Solidarity Conference, where he wrote an article praising Israel, was widely discussed. In an indirect reply to Tharoor who called Hamas terrorists in the conference, Muneer had replied that he should distinguish between defense and terrorism.
